We had such a wonderful time thanks to the very hospitable owners and their B&B team. Joe and Emily Sayers were wonderful hosts. They were very accommodating and caring. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious. Mo and Kyle were equally kind and took care of our rooms, ensuring we were comfortable and felt welcomed. We were even greeted by all their dogs upon pulling up. All the dogs were very friendly and never jumped up on us. Everyone and all the little kind details made our weekend feel like we traveled to our very own (extremely large) home. The house and grounds are filled with so many stories and so much history. We relished in the history of how it was built and asked a ton of questions. We toured the entire house and were told there were 21 bathrooms in total! Emily meticulously d

We stayed 1 night here with a group of 12 using 6 rooms. When we arrived our host Joe had left welcome cards on chairs in the entrance hallway attached to colored ribbons which led each couple to their room throughout the house.|| The house is huge, beautiful, warmly decorated and situated in the middle of hundreds of acres of farm land. Each room was completely different in size, decor and location throughout the house. Our room, the Rose Suite, was huge...I mean huge. The shared public rooms were very nice as well. There are hundreds of clocks set at 8:20 (Joe likes the way it looks) but only 3 that he actually maintains with the right time. || Breakfast was home cooked, tasty with plenty of seconds if you wanted.||None of the room doors have keys and Joe and Emily are v

I can't say enough good things about this bed and breakfast. The innkeepers are super nice and do everything to please. We stayed two nights in the cottage and loved it. The bedroom is upstairs and there is air on both floors. If air is needed it is good to have it turned on before you get there. With the air and fans on it is more than comfortable at night. The cottage has a private porch but you are only steps from the main house so you can mingle with the other guests or stay on your private patio. The property is beautiful and truly a southern plantation. It is out in the country about equal distance to Lynchburg or Appomattox. We made the drive in both directions in about 25 minutes so the country setting is well worth it. The upstairs bedroom in the cottage is quite large and the b

We stayed one night at Spring Grove, and I could have stayed longer. Emily and Joe are delightful hosts and made us feel right at home. We got there around 6:00, and a ball game my husband wanted to watch was on. After we were shown around a bit, we plopped down on the large sectional and watched the game while Joe and Emily went on to bed early. Their living area is on the third floor of this spacious property, and we saw at least 5 rooms on our floor, but I believe there are 13 guest rooms and 21 bathrooms in all. Joe provided my husband with a wi-fi hot spot so he could work in our room, and it worked great. Our suite was massive, including the bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, and Joe helped us with tourist options afterward. There are 6 dogs
