Southshore Donuts & Restaurant

Just left the Donut shop, the server gave a disengaging greeting. She then went to the back to get the order of (3) glazed donuts and (1) lemon filled My husband advised me not to go there, because the donuts are old and stale. I assured him that we would get fresh donuts. Well, apparently you MUST ask for fresh. Server went to the back to fill my order. I accepted the order and returned to my home. The donuts are so HARD AND STALE. WE TRASHED THEM. LESSON LEARNED: LISTEN TO MY HUSBAND!!

Shortly after 12pm Sat. 2/21 I drove out to this place to buy a selection of mixed pastries, but when she started putting them in bags I asked for a box because it was going to a good selection of more than just donuts and I didn't want them all in bags. She said the box would cost a dollar! I asked how much was a dozen (13 something for mixed regular donuts they said) and I was going to spend at LEAST that if not more for fancier. Not their rules they said. I walked out. SMART way to blow off a future return customer.

The donuts were good, and there’s a large variety. The people working the counter weren’t particularly rude; they just weren’t particularly friendly. They gave us what we asked, but they were no smiles, good mornings, etc. and the communication we received was very short and to the point. If that’s important to you, I’d recommend going somewhere else… but if all you care about is getting donuts and leaving, it’s great for that.

Glazed Goodness Read Time: 1 min Best glazed donuts in the city! You have to catch them while they are hot. That is usually between 5am-8am. Don’t believe me, then go and try them for yourself.

For 3am those were some of the BEST donuts, icing and apple fritters I've ever had! Thank you so much for being open and tasting amazing!!!!
