Wonderful atmosphere and great home cooking! First stop we made in Vicksburg and well worth it. Buffet style servings a little on the pricey side considering we had a small plate.
Down Home Family Food. Lunch Only. 11-2. Friendly, fun, and local. Stop by this iconic highway stop with their neighbors.
Said lunch was 11 till 2 we got there at 12:17 there was no food left for lunches .was told burgers or chicken Basket. We left. Was told to come one day at 11 if we wanted get get a lunch..there gone fast. Why not justucook more food?
Great little place for a quick lunch. Duper busy. Fried chicken and meatloaf were both delicious. Sides were good, too. Just plain southern cooking, done right.
Their food and staff are always amazing! I plan my trips through Vicksburg to make sure I can stop here for lunch.
