Southern Oaks Championship Golf Course

I am rating this a non- golfer 🏌️‍♂️ however, I was with my son, his wife and husband all great golfers - even though the course was a bit soggy the day we went 8/11/24 tee off time was 850 - the clubhouse itself they were having some issues but my son was charged $200 for 2 [cart, fees and 1 set of rental clubs for his wife) why the high fees? Apparently, it's a "Championship" course. I gave it a rating of 4 b/c the 3 guys in the club house seemed really unorganized and unprofessional. The course itself looked good. Played fast. Also, that particular day it was "cart path" only due to the sogginess of the course itself. Otherwise, the course would've been a complete muddy mess.

Good conditions. Fully mowed everywhere. Good sand in traps. Greens a bit slow, but smooth.

A decent course for sure but slightly over priced in my opinion. Course butts up against the Turnpike so Not very tranquil. Course condition was adequate, one tip would be stay out of the rough on this course. Between the Spanish moss everywhere and the tall grass best to be prepared to lose a few balls. The course length is good for the guys but the Gals may struggle a bit. All in all, definitely worth a try.

Great course not too difficult

Played about two weeks ago. The course was in great shape and greens rolled true.
