Flippers Pizza - Wildwood

Decent pizza. Definitely not a chain. Funny thing happened they took our order and kinda forgot about us. We saw the server one time then he was no longer there after 40 minutes. We reached out to the young man who was cleaning the tables anti-salt the puzzle and got our food right away. They were very accommodating and ended up not charging my wife for a salad. That's a good move for any restaurant. Overall, good experience with some tasty pizza

We came to this restaurant on BOGO Pizza Monday (includes Gluten-free). Frank was an efficient, very kind waiter. There were many customers coming in for takeout orders. The pizzas here are delicious, so it's no wonder business is brisk. This restaurant has a wide variety of pizzas already with the toppings spelled out. However, there's a very long list of wonderful toppings you can order for your personalized pizza. Plus, there are sandwiches, salads, and desserts abalang as well. This was our first time trying Flippers. My daughter received a coupon for a free pizza from her school, and honestly, I had always passed this place up because the name was a little off-putting to me. But I’m so glad we went — the food was amazing! When we arrived, the crew was short a waitress, so service started off a bit slow. It was also pretty warm inside. The restaurant didn’t look like your typical stone‑fired pizza place either, so at first I thought it would be more like a Marco’s Pizza. I was very wrong. Once our food came out, I was extremely impressed. I ordered the Artisan Pairing for $11.99 with the Sonoma pizza and the Italian salad — everything was so fresh and delicious. We are new to The Villages and a friend recommended Flippers. Wow! We were so impressed with the quality of the food (pizza and salad) and Patti was terrific. She walked us through the menu and the hog and honey pizza was to die for. We can’t wait to come back. A real treat!

The bacon honey buns are delicious. The Caesar salads were fresh. The pizza and the calzone were amazing.
