Sono Sushi

This is the first time I saw a sushi restaurant has an item called sushi regular or sushi deluxe but doesn't tell you anywhere how many pieces of sushi you will get with each. Same with the sashimi. Hard to know if its too much or if you should order extra side dish. Found that super strange that you have to ask the waitress for every dish like that. When I asked her why they just don't put it on the menu, she said oh yeah thats a good point but then says maybe because there wasn't enough space. Really so they didn't have any space in your online menu either? Sure! Secondly I ordered a Salmon Roe sushi which is $4.00 for 1 piece and the entire thing was filled with rice and just a tiny bit of Salmon Roe on top. Dissapointing.

I went here with a group of friends and we had a great time. The food is quite tasty with generous portions at an affordable price. Our server (I believe her name was Annie on the receipt) was very friendly and even helped us take our group photo at the end of our visit. I definitely recommend a visit!

Sono is our favorite Japanese restaurant for many years… when we want Japanese that where we go… food is always yummy and service is great and welcoming. My favorites are salmon teriyaki and the sushi sashimi combo. I probably should expand my options but I am happy. My wife goes for specific rolls, like salmon avocado and spicy tuna. With miso soup and salad, we are both happy campers. 😋

If you've ever considered coming here for any reason whether it's lunch, dinner, a group of friends or a date; do yourself a favor and come. This place has very fresh sushi, sashimi, etc., generous portions and attentive service. We got the love boat for 2 and it was plenty plenty of food and once again for the price? Definitely a no brainer!
