This restaurant was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Not only was the owner of this place polite and welcoming but also very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered appetizers like Savory crunch chicken, chicken tandoori Tikka boneless and Onion Bhabi and it was exceptional! Then for our entree’ we ordered Palak Paneer, Sonny’s special Butter chicken, Lamb tikka masala and Sindhi Chicken Biryani with Garlic naan, spicy garlic naan and it was just the right amount of spice. I LOVE that they don’t ask you for your spice level l, they’re just good at giving you a perfect Homemade spice level which was perfect for our family of 5 Ended it all with garam chai and warm Gulab Jamun! Sonny’s Kitchen is a must-visit if you’re anywhere near Chatham, Madison, Summit, or Morristown. The food is incredibly authentic, bursting with homemade flavors and freshly ground herbs. You can taste the love in every bite. Top picks: 🌿 Coriander Spiced Curry – fragrant, bold, and unique 🍤 Goan Shrimp Curry – packed with flavor and coastal charm 🥥 Prawn Curry with Kokum – creamy, tangy, and addictive (add lemon on top!) 🐟 Stuffed Pomfret – perfectly grilled, with coconut filling that’s pure bliss We attended their wine tasting event and were blown away by the thoughtful pairings. The new master chef is bringing serious culinary talent, the rotating specials are creative and delicious. Truly the best Indian food in the region. Go now, you won’t be disappointed.

Was craving for some biriyani and found this amazing gem of a place and the most wonderful person Sonny, made sure we felt so homely and welcome right very minute. I am from Kerala and my husband from Punjab so we really know the authentic taste of the dishes we ordered and it was spot on. Felt absolutely at home! We are coming again for sure. Keep up the amazing service and quality of dishes. 😍

Very pleasant experience! Upon walking up to the front door I was greeted by Sonny himself. He was so kind and inviting. He immediately sat me at a table and we exchanged introductions. There was a little bit of small talk to get to know me and gave it a great personal vibe. I am always looking for great chicken Vindaloo. This was a delicious as I've had. Very flavorful and satisfying. The only thing I wish is there was more! Perfect spice level too. It's a quaint and peaceful place to eat in a great area. Went to Sonny's Indian Kitchen for the first time. The Butter Chicken was the best I have ever had. My friend had the Spicy Chicken Vindaloo which was also off the charts good. In addition to an excellent mean, the service was super attentive and we wanted for nothing. The atmosphere is just charming. It is a BYOB which I prefer so I will be back to try the rest of the menu. This is a must try even if you have not had Indian food before ... just excellent!!
