Sonny's BBQ

Absolutely fantastic! This is a new franchise for me, and upon hearing hat the manager gifted me a bottle of their amazing bbq sauce. The food was epic. Best okra Ive found in Louisana. Those ribs... wow. The pulled and sliced pork were smoked lerfection. Like bbq suace? They have four types! A very clean aestetic, good branding, 5 star food, reasonable prices, and a quality staff. Erika was super friendly and was the perfect personality for this great place. Loved it, will be back.

The Sonny’s BBQ in Gonzales is one of the new design restaurant for Sonny’s. They have very good barbecue but also serve alcohol and have a drive through. My burned ends were tasty and my wife enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich. Our server was friendly and attentive and the employees were dressed for Halloween. A fun meal.

Food was very good and plentiful and our server Kait was awesome! She was efficient and very pleasant. Only thing was it was super cold inside! So a bit uncomfortable with temperature that low but a great location. Overall great experience, highly recommended!!

Sonny’s doesn’t disappoint. We aren’t spoiled for choice when it comes to BBQ in this part of the world, so when they built a Sonny’s within shouting distance of home, I knew it would be such a trip down memory lane back to growing up in central Florida and eating Sonny’s all the time with my best friend. The corn fritters with powdered sugar? The same as always. 🙂

Building is nice, simple, and spacious. I like the color scheme...gives you the full effect. The food was good. I enjoyed the potato salad most. The broccoli was plain and maybe could have gone a little longer. The chicken could have gone longer as well, for sight's sake. Ashley was my server both times. She is pleasant and helpful.
