Last week, I had an unpleasant interaction with the children’s librarian (Paloma), who approached me in a noticeably aggressive and condescending tone about charging my laptop in an empty area with no children present. I had already agreed to unplug it, yet she continued lecturing me, elevating what should’ve been a simple, respectful request into an unnecessary power trip. As a public library, this space should feel welcoming and peaceful — not hostile or territorial. I hope staff receives training on maintaining professionalism and treating patrons with courtesy. No one should feel singled out or disrespected while simply trying to study and work.

Great events and learning opportunities. I had trouble with printing and was quick and easy to troubleshoot with the myriad of help. The Valentine's date with a book promotion is genius, and it's a wonderful time. Even though I was having issues with locating local agricultural garden seeds for fruits veggies herbs and flowers, I had to look no further than my local parish library for a successful planting find. Creativity blooms here in many aspects of science technology engineering art and math for all ages.

David went above and beyond to help us make a good decision for a new mattress to fit all our needs. He made the upgrade process easy with no pressure and made it the most cost efficient as possible. Highly recommend!!

I did think very highly of this place. Me and my girls would go often. But I don't think we will be returning after a bogus call to DCFS. Apparently a worker there called DCFS claiming I kicked one of my girls. We have met with a worker and they have cleared us. I still have no idea who would have called or why. I know my girls can get a bit rowdy and loud. But I never would have expected a innocent trip to the library to end with DCFS at my door. If I could put negative stars I would.
