Customer Reviews
I’ve always wanted to stop by Sodam Chicken and finally tried it yesterday — overall, it was a really good experience. I ordered the lunch special, which comes with chicken and your choice of two sides, and it felt like a great value. There are lots of sauce options to choose from, and I liked that you can also choose between boneless or bone-in chicken. The portion size was quite large — honestly enough to take home and enjoy for another meal. The chicken was tasty, and everything came out fresh. Service was friendly and quick, which made it an easy and enjoyable stop. Overall, I was happy with my order and would definitely go back to try more from the menu.
Stopped by for their lunch special - it’s a great value! I usually get the basic chicken wings, but today I decided to try the boneless with sauce. It was good, but I think I still prefer the regular (sauce-less) wings. What can I say, I’m basic 😅🤣 I like their fries too. The egg roll was ok, but I’ve had better. Overall, still a solid meal. The staff is friendly as always, and the place is clean. Definitely recommend if you haven’t tried it yet.
Came in after a long day of exploring the city and was so happy I made it for their happy hour special— 6 pieces of fried chicken, fries, and a cocktail/draft beer/soda of your choice for $18! Crazy good. My only wish is that the fries were a bit more special. I’m not the biggest fan of crinkle cut fries (dont get me wrong they were still delish), but maybe something more kbbq-y could be fun! Theres lots of space, 90s kdramas playing on the TVs, and early 2000s kpop playing so i had a lovely time!
Sodam Chicken Capitol Hill The fried chicken was delicious, the service was excellent, and overall it was a very good experience. When leaving, I ordered another portion of fried chicken to go!
Not a fan of the chicken here. It tasted a bit gamey to me, even the yangnyeom (though the sauce was good). I didn’t enjoy the rice cracker oven chicken either. On the bright side, the fried rice and noodles were tasty, and the combo meals are great for groups (good for 4 people). The space is big and quiet, we went on a Friday night and only saw two other groups. Free parking is a nice bonus. Personally, I think their other location tastes better, but it might be worth trying for yourself.
