Socorro Public Library

I love the employees here, everyone is so friendly! They have excellent computer access, including printing if needed, and an excellent variety of books, cds and cassettes for the blind. It's always so clean and cool refrigerated air!

Yet another road trip, yet another library to chill and use some wi-fi. Socorro Public Library is a tribute to this small New Mexico town. The building is venerable and well-maintained. The interior has wood finishes that are probably original to the construction years ago. The staff was as friendly as could be and my time there was well spent. Thanks Socorro!

The library is fine but the internet has a delay when clicking; internet speed is fine by today's standards. You must log out of Yahoo, Google, etc. The computer resetting will not log you out. Temperature maintained is low, typical with most libraries; bring a sweater. Free coffee! (donations are encouraged)

In this small town, this small one of the best things around. Shout-out to Ms. Mandy for planning fun and engaging activities for the kiddos :)
