Dos Casitas En Socorro Bed And Breakfast

Quaint, comfortable casita well located in-town Socorro. Host Judy is easy to communicate with, flexible and accommodating. She knows the area and can provide a lot of helpful advice. Breakfast with her was a delight, both for the great selection of options and the good conversation over the meal. Judy is a delightful and accommodating host! We loved our one-night stay in January and would love to go back. The room was cozy, bed was comfy, and we loved the decor.

Charming accommodations and a delightful host! There are two well appointed casitas nestled at the back of the property surrounded by lovely gardens and outdoor seating. Very serene and peaceful. Located in the historic district of town, it’s a quick stroll to the plaza, the San Miguel Mission, the Capital Bar, and art galleries. |The host Judy always greets you warmly and is quite knowledgeable about the area and its surrounds. Highly recommend- this is the best Socorro has to offer!

Went to see the birds at Bosque del Apache and stayed at Dos Casitas. Great decision. Judy could not be more helpful and accommodating and when you add in the good breakfast you have a real winner.The morning we went early to the refuge she put a coffee maker in our room and a bag of goodies to eat. We came back and she cooked us a hot breakfast. ||Judy knows the area well and suggested places to see and restaurants to go to. We became well acquainted with the “green chili cheeseburger “ We plan to make this an annual trip and Dos Casitas will be in the program.||P.S. Watching the birds and wildlife at the Bosque is a beautiful experience, nature at its best!!

Judy was a wonderful host. It was particularly delightful chatting with her over breakfast. This is the best place to stay if you want to be conveniently situated near the Bosque de Apache so you can see snow geese and cranes fly in at dusk and fly out at dawn. The bed was comfortable, the room was a bit dated. It was heated by a fireplace and space heater.
