Take the extra 1.5 mile drive off 25 for this. The burger is OUTSTANDING! You can't beat the prices, they should have a line out the door as soon as they open. We have been in ABQ for the last 4 months and this was off the chain! We got two burgers, 8 mozz sticks, and onion rings and it was $24 even! Come on! Not frozen flower patties, the real deal. Support local! They are as friendly as your neighbor you came by to visit for lunch! Outside seating with vast desert views! Forgot burger photo as both were gone like daylight on December 21st. 🤣

A MUST TRY..! We took a friend to Socorro for lunch, but the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed. We found Journey's Place online, and what a find it was. The Indian Tacos, Bacon Chile Cheese Fries, shakes, and Brazilian Lemonade were all amazing. Carlos and the rest of his family were very friendly. I highly recommend Journey's Place. We will be back.

We stopped driving through Socorro because the reviews were great. We were so impressed! The burgers were like Blake's, but bigger and better! Two burgers, fries, and mozzarella sticks came to $22.50. Can't beat a $6 burger, but this one was off the chain! We're already taking about making the hour and a half drive back just for the burgers. The guy talking orders was super cool. He was wearing a Slap Fight t-shirt and we got to talk with him about the importance of keeping motivated people with grit in your life because it rubs off on you. Didn't catch his name but what a cool dude! Plenty of space outside to eat at one of their picnic tables. Not much to look at in the way of aesthetics, but it didn't matter because the food, prices, and people were amazing.

Cute place to grab a quick lunch while on a road trip! They had a very clean porta potty & sink area. The patio was laid back & dog friendly. We got the burger & sopapiilla burger.
