I dined at Soba Noodle Azuma and ordered the Tokumori Special Soba Noodles. The dish was delicious and very well balanced. The noodles had a great texture and paired perfectly with the flavorful broth. The fried shrimp were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and tasted fresh. I also tried a non-alcoholic Japanese Asahi beer, which was a nice touch and went well with the meal. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with soft music playing in the background, making it easy to enjoy your food and have a good conversation. Service was friendly and attentive, and you are seated by staff when you arrive. Overall, this is a great place to enjoy authentic Japanese soba noodles in a comfortable setting. I would definitely come back to try more items on the menu.
Soba Noodle Azuma is such a hidden gem in Fort Lee. If you’re looking for authentic, comforting Japanese food, this place absolutely delivers. The soba noodles are fresh, perfectly textured, and full of flavor—clearly made with care and tradition in mind. Everything tastes clean, balanced, and not overdone. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Japanese soba or just want a quiet, quality meal in Fort Lee. I’ll definitely be back.
I went there with my parents my dad is Japanese he loved it he ended up having 400 grams of noodles I’m not s fan of noodles but I ordered their seaweed salad and fried guoza and I really liked how thru serve you with two types of dressings but I’ll say I’m very manzoku!! 😋 and what makes it even better the owners are Japanese so you know it’s good! 🇯🇵
The food is as good as Asahi (fort lee) was before it closed. Loved the Nabeyaki udon and the fact that they had Kyurizuke a rare pickle that's hard to find. Good service and atmosphere.
Service was not the best. First, they forgot my order and second the workers were overall awkward and weren't friendly whatsoever. Talking to them made me uncomfortable. However, for the price the food was pretty good.
