We sat at the bar where we find we get personal and friendly service....Snapper's bar was no exception! The bartender, despite being slammed by a busy evening AND a group of 20 or 25 that came in, was very attentive! The entire staff operated like a true team and took care of everyone in a very personable way. The food was delish. Wine was a great pour and service was EXCELLENT. Look for the tiny red sneaker behind the bar! Definitely would go back there again when in NOLA!
Snapper Seafood & Cajun Restaurant was such a great find—cute, relaxed, and conveniently right down the street from where we stayed. The service was excellent and we were well taken care of. We ordered the Taste of New Orleans sampler and everything was delicious, especially the gumbo. But the real star of the night was the Cajun pasta. Hands down the best Cajun pasta I’ve ever had. The noodles were fresh, the sauce was creamy without being heavy, perfectly cheesy, and the sausage took it over the top. Absolutely incredible. I’m already planning my return just for that dish. Also had a beautiful cocktail that was just as good. If you’re a pasta lover, do yourself a favor and get the Cajun pasta—you won’t regret it.
The seafood was incredibly flavorful. The oysters (both raw and baked) were amazing. Prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants in New Orleans. The service was fast and our server(Max)😊 was super friendly. Definitely coming back next time!
Seriously the absolute best food my family had on our trip to New Orleans! Someone in our party is very hard to please and they loved every single bite. We have a 4 and 8 year old, who also ate so well. The 8 year old ordered a fried shrimp platter and raved about how great it tasted. We will for sure come back when we come to New Orleans! Di was our waitress, from the hostess guy to the last bite it was a 5 star experience!
Had a wonderful meal and shout out to our server, Max, who was wonderful!! I ordered the blackened redfish and my husband ordered the cajun pasta. Both were beyond tasty! Next time we visit New Orleans, we’ll definitely be back!
