Smoke Sessions Barbecue

Really wanted to like the place. They only had brisket left, that happens. We got here about 7:15 pm. She had a chopped beef sandwich, I had sliced brisket. The meat had a great taste, but it was not hot. Maybe tepid or lukewarm. Worse was the fries. I paid $8 for family size fries, tend they were brought out cold. Like, sat in the dispenser for half an hour cold. I took them back and asked for hot fries. They literally threw the in the fryer and heated up the same order of fries. I don’t think that’s hygienic, nor legal, but I could be wrong. The Mac and cheese looked like it had been left over from yesterday. Dry and cold. I don’t think Smoke sessions will be on my list of acceptable restaurants going forward

The ham and turkey was absolutely excellent. All of my guests love the meat. It was a bit unorganized at the restaurant, and hams weren't ready on time. The lady working on giving out the food did an amazing job at keeping her cool , though. I definitely would recommend. I would suggest the owners have things more organized in the future and have phone service.So people can call in. There's also many people that would like to order their meat for the holidays on the internet.And I wish that the owners would consider that.

This place seems to be the place to go on a Friday after work! We got there at just the right time-no one was there and then within minutes there was a line out the door!! When we asked the girls at the front what they suggested-they said the brisket and offered us a taste. It was so juicy & flavorful, it melted in our mouths! I had planned on getting the Sessions Burger but I was told the Pulled pork was definitely something to try! So naturally I asked for a taste….this definitely did not taste just like any pulled pork! This actually had like a sweet crunch to it and was moist and tasty! So glad I listened to the suggestion!! 🤤 This place doesn’t have the ratings it should. The staff was nice and helpful, the atmosphere was fun, plenty of table space and TVs -even for the kids and food

We had a group of 7 and we all got something different Everything that we ate was spot on! The sausage, brisket, fries, coleslaw, and even the Bacon Waffle that we got for dessert! The staff was friendly and was helpful with suggestions on things to try. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by for some authentic Texas BBQ!

We have tried Smoke Sessions a few times. Thought it would improve but it's actually gotten worse. We got the brisket, turkey, ribs and spicy sausage with potato salad, been beans and brisket beans. Brisket was tender but dry, it wasn't falling apart it was crumbling. The pepper flavor was over powering. Turkey was tender but not juicy again there was so much pepper that the flavor of the turkey was completely drowned out. Once the pepper crust was removed we could enjoy what flavor there was. Ribs, these were the highlight. Seasoned nicely, tender and had just the right amount of pull per now without having the meat just fall off the bone. Spicy garlic sausage, this was very flavorful and man was there a lot of cheese, a little greasy but still delicious. Potato salad, this is usually my
