Sipes Smokehouse BBQ

Brisket and sauce were good. Bun was absolutely worthless. Young woman taking the order had an attitude. The sandwich wasn't packaged well with meat falling out before I got back to the car. Skip the bun and don't expect service with a smile.

I found this gem of a place while working in Altoona Pa.. I was driving and saw Sipes Smokehouse BBQ to my left and then I immediately made a "U-turn" and doubled back... I'm so glad I did. I had the 1/2 pound Smoked Brisket Sandwich dinner platter with Mac and Cheese and baked beans.. Absolutely phenomenal. These guys know what they're doing and they mean business! It is good to know places like this do exist, you just have to be lucky enough to find them. Thanks Sipes Smokehouse BBQ!

This is perhaps the worst BBQ I have ever had. The chicken (that was deep-fried and not barbecued) was dried and very overcooked. The macaroni salad was so so. And the coleslaw was rancid. I had to spit it out immediately and couldn’t even finish eating it. The service was not great but not also not terrible. The guy that took my order asked me several times to repeat it. The price was not worth what the food was that was given. Maybe some of the other food there is better- I don’t know, but I will definitely not go back to this location. Once bitten twice shy.

Had to wait a bit, it seemed like busy place. After I got my loaded fries, I knew why. There was enough for two meals easily and I like to eat!

Ohhhh Sipes...We have been waiting for you to open...OMG!! Almost couldn't wait till I got home to eat, it smelled so good!!! And the flavor is out of this world AMAZING!! If you get a chance to try this INCREDIBLE food, you will be ADDICTED!!!
