Mayfield

My wife and I had an afternoon without kids and decided to give the Mayfield a try, and we are really glad we did. We started with the Brussel Sprouts which are Crispy Brussels with Bacon, Brown Butter Mustard, Shaved Parmesan & Maple Syrup. They were absolutely delicious. The brown butter mustard was a great contrast to the sweetness of the Maple syrup. My wife had the Eggs Benedict which she loved, and I had the "Funky Grilled Cheese" which is roasted mushrooms, bacon jam, mozzarella, provolone, and goronzola on grilled artisan bread, which is a wonderful combination of flavors. Our first time visiting and there will be more visits. Very enjoyable atmosphere and service was super. Started with Fat Cap Flatbread which was great. We each ordered half and half. My wife loved hers (salad and sandwich). The butternut squash soup and grilled cheese sandwich of mine was perfect. Hope to return soon.

It was SO good!! I went with my mother on a Thursday evening and the team was extremely nice. They asked how we wanted our food paced so we could really enjoy everything. We ordered: marinated goat cheese, spinach apple salad (caramelized pecans were delish!!) and the Brazilian stew. I've included some pictures I just loved it! Such a great spot!

Absolutely one of the best dinner meals, thumbs up to the Beet butter raviolis and beef brisket gnocchi. Espresso martini excellent, definitely will go back!

An elegant dining experience while keeping with the essence of the historic Capital Hotel. Staff was very friendly and cordial. Our waitress went out of her way to guide me through some gluten free options. I took the sriracha burger special and it was excellent. My wife and cousin had a scallop entree that was delicious. If you’re looking to upscale your dining experience here’s the place to go.
