Allegheny Street Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the St. Francis of Assisi Suite (aka the zebra suite) and had a wonderful time. The suite was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Jyoti did a fantastic job of decorating the house for the fall. Her breakfasts were made to order and more than we could eat. Since we are seniors, Jyoti made several trips up and down the steps to our third floor suite with our suitcases. The B&B is in the historic district of town, on the main street, and an easy walk to the little shops and eateries. We would definitely stay there again.

We had never stayed at a bed & breakfast before so we booked a 1 night stay. When we got there, we were greeted by the inn keeper. She was very nice and showed us to our room. We were on the top level of the house. Before arriving, I was sent a text message with our room number and the code to the digital lock. It was very easy to use. Our room, the George Fox room, was absolutely massive! It had a great view with 2 cute window benches. The bed was a very comfy queen size with many layers of bedding. In the morning, we sat in the parlor for breakfast. The room has two 12 foot mirrors that are original from the 1800's! The decor is a little bit of an odd combination. Three Arabian horse show awards really stood out to me. Breakfast choices were plentiful, about 6 courses and very filling. W

This was the perfect place to stay for our Valentine's train ride in Holidaysburg. It's a short distance from the train and The Dream restaurant. Definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful B&B in a very nice historic building (the 12 foot ceilings are impressive) about a block from the old downtown in Holidaysburg. Jyoti is an amazing hostess, the food and service are top notch. Would highly recommend.

This super charming home has multiple rooms for guests, all comfortable and individualized in decor. The common rooms are spacious and easy for multiple people to enjoy. Wonderful hosts!
