Simpson's Bed & Breakfast

Simpson’s Bed & Breakfast exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, Tonya made us feel right at home with warm hospitality and great communication. The location truly cannot be beat—right in the heart of downtown Mount Dora, within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, the lakefront, and everything this charming town has to offer. The David room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches like snacks, coffee, and great AC—much appreciated on a warm Florida day! This was my first visit to Simpson’s, but it won’t be my last. Whether you’re here for a quick getaway, a special occasion, or just to relax and explore, this B&B is a true gem. Highly recommended!

We absolutely love this sweet little B&B! Tanya is so thoughtful and has done so many sweet little touched to make us feel so special. We recently stayed for Easter and she hid candy filled eggs in our room and plenty of snacks. The location is perfect and the beds are very cozy. The decor is so Mount Dora, like you are visiting your favorite aunty, charming and understated. We have stayed several times and have booked there once a month for a little staycation for the next six months. We live a couple hours away in Sarasota and we love coming up for the Maggie's Wine Walks the third weekend of the month. Hope you get a change to stay in this lovely destination.

This is our favorite place to stay in Mount Dora. Its right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. You can walk everywhere! Its very clean with nice sheets and towels. The bed was so comfortable! Each room is beautifully decorated with interesting art pieces & personal touches. Cute kitchen provides coffee, creamer, water bottles and snacks. Also, you are given a coupon for free breakfast at a local restaurant where the food is fabulous. The whole place feels like a sanctuary of peace and calm with a mixture of comfortable furniture and antique accents everywhere.

We’ve been to and enjoyed stay over visits to Mt Dora in the past. This year for our anniversary I decided to find a B&B downtown. We chose Simpson’s B&B and are so happy we did. Tonya was our go to person to coordinate our early arrival, flowers in the room and make/recommend dinner reservations. She was awesome. We stayed in the Bob’s Suite. We loved it. Spacious and comfortably decorated. I believe the hard wood floors were bamboo. Both the separate bedroom and bathroom had sliding barn doors. The ambiance was wonderful. When visiting Mt Dora in the future we will always stay at Simpsons. We are already planning a new trip there with friends.

Simpson’s B&B is in the perfect location, in the cute town of Mt Dora, it’s in the heart of downtown, walking distance to all the restaurants, stores, park and all. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The B&B is adorable. Our room, Jim’s room, was super clean and comfortable. So many thoughtful touches fresh flowers and anniversary card, water, snacks, robes, and more. I didn’t travel with mine this time so I was so happy to see the Keurig with assorted coffee! I can’t say enough. Happy we chose to stay there.
