Beirut Bites

This is probably the best Middle Eastern food. I’ve had in a very long time. We ordered the sampler platter, which was ample food for two people. The falafel is probably the best that I’ve had in a long time, the chicken skewer was not overcooked and delicious and the pistachio baklava was honestly the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time. All of the other sauces and ingredients were spot on. Highly recommend.

The employee working at Beirut Bites was really friendly and welcoming, and I was excited to try out Beirut Bites instead of trying my normal Mt Dora go-to's. Everything looked good, including the falafel which I spotted as ordered by someone else. I ended up getting the steak shawarma, which comes with a side of hummus and a sparse handful of fried pita chips. The meal itself was filling, however I found it overall just okay in taste - I felt like it was missing flavor/seasonings, something. I also thought the steak was a bit chewy. But, it was an incredibly busy day today, so perhaps this meal was just not at its peak capacity for deliciousness. The food is well prepared, flavorful and served at very reasonable prices. We ordered a falafel wrap, a regular falafel plate, a chicken shawarma wrap, tabbouleh, baba ghanoush, hummus with pita bread, spinach pie, baklava and an espresso. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the shawarma had great seasoning. The baba ghanoush and hummus were smooth and tasty, perfect with the fresh pita. The tabbouleh was fresh and zesty. The atmosphere was cozy and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

I ordered the chicken shawarma. The taste was quite dry — not only was the meat extremely dry, but there was also very little sauce, even though the sauce itself was actually delicious. The service was good, but the food was disappointing overall.

Been here twice! First for the Dubai chocolates; it was good and authentic, however, expect that it's a little pricy. The bowl is so good though. A lot of healthy options! I will recommend this place to try!
