Grandview Bed and Breakfast Mount Dora

We had the good fortune to stay at Grandview Bed and Breakfast last weekend. Gwendolyn is the most amazing hostess and you will absolutely be made to feel like old friends of hers rather than customers. The entire property was well maintained with lots of farm house touches added for extra character. We enjoyed the salt water pool and our room was extremely comfortable. Parking was nice and easy and the location is great for visits to Mount Dora’s downtown area. Gwendolyn’s breakfast is not to be missed. We ate like royalty each day and were excited to hear that she actually sourced many of her ingredients from local farms and the Mount Dora farmers market. Great location to downtown just a couple blocks away, easy walk. This has been one of the nicest B&B’s that we have stayed at, calm and quiet area we felt relaxed and at home here. Our room was amazing and our host made us feel very welcome and always made sure we had what we needed to be comfortable. We will be back Mount Dora is beautiful lots of great places to eat and shop especially if you like antiquing!! Price was on point with others I selected this B&B because of the pool area and gardens but pics online did not do it justice the property is beautiful and immaculately kept.

Grandview B&B was absolutely fantastic. Gwendolyn and Dennis were such incredible hosts that we felt like family. The breakfast meals were amazing, the grounds are beautifully kept, the pool is sparkling clean, the immaculate rooms are a comfortable size and the location is walking distance to the town. We couldn't ask for anything more. The next time we visit Mt. Dora, we will definitely stay there. Thank you, Gwendolyn and Dennis, for making our tip a memorable one.

We enjoyed the high tea experience. It was phenomenal! Every detail from beginning to end. I loved every minute of it. Truly a unique and lovely experience. The tea, food, drinks were amazing. An experience we wont forget. Downton Abbey in Florida. Who knew?

My husband and I have been to the Grandview in Mt. Dora twice. The accommodations are lovely. The cottage is perfect if you have a teenager like us who needs their own space. The owner Gwendolyn is a fabulous host. Do not miss her farm to table breakfast. The location can't be beat. It's right down the block from Main Street. Go, you will love it.
