ADORA INN

What a find. I knew from all the 5 star reviews that Adora Inn would not disappoint. The comfortable, convenient, and impeccably clean rooms (we stayed in the light-filled Treehouse Room), beautiful decor and scrumptious breakfasts are reasons enough to stay here. But as others have said, it is the owners, Arthur and John, who put this inn above any other area lodging. Both are professional chefs with an encyclopedic knowledge of area sights, restaurants and general comings and goings. Their attention to detail is impressive, whether it be tea water at the correct temperature, perfectly caramelized fruit, soft bed linens or placement of Arthur’s beautiful art. Plus, they’re just fun to talk with. Thank you Arthur and John for a relaxing and memorable stay. We would happily return.

We had an overnight visit at the Adora Inn on 2/11. Not being a regular B&B user, I was a little apprehensive. I must say that our experience at the Adora Inn was fantastic. We were greeted by Arthur, our host, upon our arrival. He made us feel very welcome and provided us with a wealth of information regarding places to go in Mount Dora. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The Inn is perfectly located in a quiet residential area that is within a very short walk of all the shops and restaurants. We never had to use our car until it was time to go home. We were served a delicious breakfast on our day of departure. I look forward to visiting the Adora Inn again!

This was a mother/daughter gift to my mother for her birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Adora Inn. It was exceptionally clean, welcoming and fun. The rooms are large as are the bathrooms. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Do not miss their breakfast. Very delicious! The location is perfect. It’s quite yet a block from downtown. Very walkable!

This was our first time staying at a B&B, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the historic Adora Inn. The charm and character of the inn made the experience feel extra special. We truly enjoyed John and Arthur—they were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Both hosts are chefs, and we loved the gourmet breakfasts, including freshly baked pastries. It’s a perfect place to relax in Mount Dora, with a short and enjoyable walk to the park, restaurants, and the lake. We highly recommend staying at the Adora Inn.

Everything about our experience at Adora Inn was wonderful... John and Arthur were great, Arthur is an amazing chef as his gourmet breakfasts attest. Room was large - Treetop, bright, airy and the soaking tub a real treat. Linens were top notch. Loved the whole vibe of the Inn, cool sophisticated yet warm and welcoming. Especially enjoyed Arthur's art work displayed around the house... a real Renaissance Man!
