Shiawassee District Library-Owosso Branch

This has to be our most favorite, free activity in town. They have the best selection of books, movies, audio books and more. They're constantly doing stuff for the kids. Plus, Natalie (sp) in the kids department is super knowledgeable and helpful. She always has good book recommendations and is super nice even when you ask 50+ questions.

Just LOVE the place! Beautiful, GORGEOUS, definitely quiet! Great WiFi! Go take the Kids, and check out a couple of books! 4 old time sake!

Each time I visit, I am reminded why I don't go more often. The staff is condescending and rude upstairs. I would rather pay $12 for a book on Amazon than have to deal with them. The library should be a safe and warm and inviting place and this is anything but...so sad.

One of the grandsons' favorite places, so many kids books that they can find some to interest them, plus activities or crafts to do and toys to play with. They like saying hi to the fish and the cat too.

Staff is not very friendly anymore Starting to get to the point of where I don't wanna go to this library was told If don't pick stuff up I'm gonna get blocked for requesting things and that it costs money for me to request items that fine if that's what must be done I actually like the CDL library in Corunna better and an still eligible to use the library I'm just going to use community district library from now on like if a library can't afford to use Mel then maybe u should just stop using Mel all together it kind of seems like the shiawassee district library is in debt by saying something like that to a patron won't be back to Owosso library for awhile this library has gone to crap since Margaret and Cindy and a bunch of the staff are no longer working at the library anymore really re
