Sheena Mediterranean Turkish Cuisine

My rule when traveling or trying a new place is to avoid restaurants that are empty, especially at what should be a busy lunch hour. We were a party of four, hoping this empty Turkish place would surprise us. We even asked what the best thing to order was. Sadly we found out why there were no diners present. We tried the chicken shish, lamb Adana, and falafel sandwiches. All disappointing, overcooked and tasteless. I’ll be surprised if this place is still in business next time we are in the area.

Decent Turkish food considering the area. We had a variety of the mezzes, zucchini pancakes, lentil soup, bean salad, and falafel. We dined in but everything came in disposable containers. The mezzes were all pretty good especially the eggplant salad. The pita supplied was not Turkish bread and was typical store bought pita. Nothing super memorable though and the price points were quite high (with tips was about $100 with the items we got). Then we also got two slices of cakes, Dubai chocolate and regular chocolate which were pretty good and not too sweet.

I’m a local and have been to this place several times. The chef that started the place was amazing and his recipes were delicious. Last summer they basically doubled all the prices and served dry, not very good meats, the chicken was alright, but the price gauging was laughable. Now, the place re-invented itself but the food needs some improvement. I’m hopeful that if they try to establish themselves for the local community and not just try to make any dollar they can in the summer, they may actually survive and the food may improve. There is a great Turkish restaurant right in Riverhead that delivers to WHB, that’s where I still go and order from since the chef left at Sheena’s. Let’s hope they can deliver what they are supposed to be offering.

This is the only place in the hamptons that you can find fresh and best turkish appetizers. Their prices will blow your mind. All their kebabs and lamp chops are so tasty. I got their mix grill best of the best. This is must place to visit Best best best best

Delicious, authentic Turkish food. We ordered takeaway: zucchini fritters with pink sultana labneh and babaganoush for dipping. Came with flatbread. Manti as the entree and rice pudding for dessert. They also have Dubai chocolate bars 🍫 A++, we will be back.
