Shawarma Express

I placed an order for a shawarma combo, and after had eaten majority of the plate, just before I went to take my next bite I notice green and blue on the beef shawarma. At first, I figured it could be like a piece of plastic wrap that might’ve got caught around it or something, but after shining a flashlight on it, it was a greenish blueish that looks like a candy dye. Photos are attached for proof. Im only upset because now I dont know if im going to be sick or not and was really excited for a good new years meal.

Shawarma Express in Lombard is a hidden gem! The shawarma is absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and tender—and the beef Kabab is out of this world. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. The service is superb; the staff is friendly, welcoming, and fast. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go, they make you feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic, flavorful Middle Eastern food!

The Chicken shawarma wrap was the skinniest wrap I’ve ever ordered. They are not consistent on how they fill the wraps. The chicken itself tastes authentic and was not dry. The other toppings add a good flavor to the wrap. Garlic sauce and fries were good. Please do better on consistency of food size

The best food I had in a few months. The meat was so juicy and tasty. The portions are solid. The Garlic sauce tastes so smooth and mild like homemade. Thank you for your business because you’re absolutely at the right place. You provide delicious food at the reasonable price.

Our family visits Shawarma Express regularly and often uses them for catering as well. Adam is always patient, helpful with orders, and goes out of his way to make sure everything tastes fresh and is ready on time. We highly recommend this restaurant!
