Shannon's Deli

I always thought the same as everyone on here, until i ordered today Friday 6th March 2026. We were all excited about our fish dinners from Shannon’s, being lent we eat fish on Friday’s. I was hoping for a nice size fillet with French Fries. What I got was four small pieces of battered fish( cold) anD cold fries. My daughter and son-in-law had fish sandwiches which was the same cold pieces as the fish & chips. Really disappointed. Because any other time I have ordered from here the food was good.

Had the chopped salad and also tried the red skin potato salad. It was all very fresh and delicious. They were very nice and expedient with getting me my food. Overall a great food experience.

A good place to grab a quick bite. It won’t blow you out of the water but it’s affordable and you get a lot for your buck. The day I went in, I believe the staff was training a new employee so it was a bit hectic but they tried their best to accommodate every customer.

Really great options to choose from. I had a turkey jam sandwich and it was delicious. My dessert was whiskey banana pudding

Fantastic local deli in downtown Lombard. Everything on the menu is great and the staff is super friendly. It gets busy during peak times, but the wait is never that bad. The portions of food are also filling and the price is right on point.
