Our go to affordable Chinese takeout. They don’t skimp on the food and always fill it to the brim. We always order their pork fried rice, chefs delight, and fried dumplings. This time we ordered their crispy beef and salt & pepper fish. Crispy beef - It is thinly sliced and the beef is dry. However, we like to order it because of the crunchy texture and the sweet and spicy flavor. Salt & pepper fish- Well fried and not oily. It has a very good mild jalapeño flavor. Service quality has gone down in recent months. Every neighborhood needs an inexpensive, quick Chinese food restaurant. Shang Hai used to be that place. My last three carry out visits, they too twice as long to prepare the food than what they told me on the phone. This last visit they did not want to take credit cards! Time to try another restaurant option.

I didn't go inside we got taken out. It was just ok. The egg rolls were good though. IDK if I'll be back.

They rudely said not allowed eating in the restaurant but no sign on the door showed. The restroom was locked also. Food quality is really bad. The materials were not fresh. Very unfriendly attitude. Never come back.

I have always loved this place. Great food and reasonable prices. I see some reviews about the lady at the front. If you pay in cash, you're good. Credit card fees for small businesses are astronomical which is why it's preferred to spend over a certain amount if you are using a credit card. Credit card companies are slamming small businesses, so some of your orders this restaurant would rather lose because you're actually costing them money with your small orders. #ijs
