Z Burger & Maman Joon Kabob

I can’t believe I’ve lived around the corner from this spot for the past five years and never been! This is a MUST come if you’re craving something delicious. My wife and I got the combo #1, a Philly cheesesteak plain, and a small order of seasoned fries. The value proposition is among the best I’ve seen in the area - the platter of food that comes out is massive and justifies the price (not to mention the accompanying flatbread and side of chickpeas if you dine in). I thought this place was too good to be true but it actually is just that amazing. Right when you walk in, the restaurant is really clean and there’s upbeat music. The staff are really friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. My husband and I ordered combo #1, small fries (which were huge!!), Philly cheesesteak on white bread with no toppings. Total was $41 before tip. We inhaled our food and finished in less than 5 minutes. First, if you dine in, you get a complimentary appetizer of stewed chickpeas, a couple pitas, a cilantro sauce, and a yogurt sauce. The chickpeas were SO addicting and we put it over the rice and meat from our combo. The sauces were perfect to dip the kabobs in too. I tried Maman Joon Kabob/ Z Burger and loved it! I got the delicious Maman Joon Combo 1 with chicken kabob and ground beef koobideh. It also comes with rice, bread and the essential sauces. The customer service here is amazing and super hospitable. They personally bring your carry out order to you instead of yelling your name, and they even have free tea while you wait! Tip: if you dine in, you get free chickpeas (otherwise it’s $4 extra for carry-out but still worth it, has a nice sweet cinnamon taste)

Omg food was amazing. I have 3 picky kids but they have something for everyone. From burgers, hot dogs to Samosa (my favorite was the lamb) rice naan kabobs and salads They’re fries are so crispy and delicious. For dessert snatch the crepes, I got the kinder with a scoop of ice cream. Then to top it all off they have black tea on the house. The service was so god thank Bisma! This is our new favorite spot to eat for the whole family

I decided to check out Z-Burger after reading some great reviews, and while there were a few highlights, overall it was just okay for me. I definitely appreciated the freshness of the food and the generous portion sizes—that’s always a win. But when it came to taste, some of the items didn’t really stand out. I’ve had better elsewhere, or it just felt a bit average. One thing I did enjoy was their wide variety of milkshakes. Lots of fun options to choose from and definitely a sweet spot on their menu!
