Shake Shack Stamford

I was exciting to see this restaurant in this area. But….. very disappointed after the first visit. If the food is not going to look like (I don’t expect any restaurant to be exact witht their “menu photos” but this is way far away what they are trying to sell. Ordered the most expensive burger but this is what I get??? Nuggets…wow… am I paying 6 dollar for this?I’m only complaining about the food they present. Service person was nice.

I was in town and hungry with two hungry teen boys. In this center is the shake shack, pepes pizza, a starbucks.... we don't have shake shack in bridgeport so we opted to try it out. Walk in and you're immediately introduced to the self order machines. Put in your order, and on the desk are numerous metal sticks with a number. Pick one and put that number in. When you sit at a table, that's the number they look for to bring your food. The prices are decent until you realize they don't come with fries. Crazy. We got a BBQ double burger, 10 chicken bites, and a veggie burger. I ordered a ranch fry to share. An oreo shake, a large diet coke, and a fruit punch drink. That was all about $67. I recently attended the friends and family event during the soft launch yesterday and my experience was phenomenal from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted outside, and after providing my information, I was allowed entrance. Immediately after walking in, I was welcomed by Dave Yearwood, the Area Director. Dave was incredibly kind, personable, and super friendly, making my first interaction truly memorable. He assisted me in placing my order at the kiosk, elevating my experience right from the beginning. My server, whose name I unfortunately did not catch, delivered my food promptly and went the extra mile by hand-delivering napkins and sauces I had forgotten to grab. After receiving a text message saying my order was ready, I went to the counter to pick it up, but there was no one there. After waiting for a while, a woman came out with no expression on her face. I showed her my order number, and she simply said it wasn’t ready yet, without any further explanation or apology. I had no choice but to continue waiting. The food itself was very good, but the service definitely has a lot of room for improvement.

The food was good, but the fries weren't hot. This was disappointing since I waited an unusually long time for my food. The shake was good.
