Shah's Halal Food

I came in here for a healthy, late dinner and was once again pleased to find very fresh salad along with my falafel platter. I had no idea that the owner also owns the location in Hicksville which I have also given a fantastic review. The prices are very very reasonable and the menu offers a wide variety of items. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and has ample space if you care to dine there instead of eating at home or at the office. The rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The falafel are absolutely delicious and not mushy or over cooked. The hummus is very creamy and I have to admit is better than mine! The salad is also very fresh. Considering that I patronized this restaurant after 9pm, it is a pleasant surprise to find such fresh food! The sauces are fabulous! I tried

Today I went to this branch and ordered a chicken sandwich. While eating it, I felt nauseous and the taste was disgusting. I looked at the sandwich and it was not cooked at all. I went to the restaurant and saw this and I feel unwell. I will go to the hospital and see what to do with this nonsense.

Overloading of salads and sauces, impossible to recognize the platter. No heat, it was freezing at the dinning area. Not a comfortable place to sit and eat. But food tastes good so better take it to go.

These guys offer excellent service, have good manners and great food. They are generous people, and are able to help solve any problems you have. The food is always fresh and amazing. I love eating at halal’s it’s like my 10th time coming here. Never a miss.
