Sgt. Pepperoni's Pizza Store Aliso Viejo

I ordered pizza from Sgt Pepperonis Pizza and absolutely loved it. I used to order from Papa John’s and Domino’s, but lately the pizza has been coming with raw dough. This place is on another level, perfectly cooked, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavor. Everything tasted great from the first bite to the last. Definitely my new favorite pizza spot!

Love the people working here. Kind, fast and on point. The food however is average at best. It just tastes off frankly. Almost no sauce, too much cheese and very unsatisfying pizza. It’s mushy on the crust and the toppings have little flavor. I appreciate they have real crust but even the crust isn’t enjoyable to eat. SoCal just doesn’t know good pizza is my opinion. I can’t recommend an alternative to this place because nothing good exists in the area. Need to go to Dana or up north to Costa Mesa for better options.

Great customer service! Beer was great and filled to the rim. We got almost 6 beer mugs out of the pitcher. Pizza was great flavor. Little bit of grease run off which made center of pizza soggy. I liked it. Won 2 prizes in small arcade.

I have a massive issue with this place and it’s claimed “New York” style. Garlic knots are one of the most basic things possible, and they could not be worse here. They’re completely dry inside and out with zero flavor. It’s plain bread! It’s so simple to make garlic knots right when the dough is baked properly in the garlic butter and then dressed hot. They don’t do EITHER STEP HERE! It’s disappointing on every level. Perhaps, I can assist you with the most fundamental aspect of a garlic knot - the dough is tied in a knot! I have no idea why this location insists on skipping this step, but tying it in a knot is what helps it actually bake properly! This is why you end up with heavy, dense, round balls of flavorless bread. Don’t go too early. The first few pizzas seem to be throwaways fo
