Chuponcito

Chuponcito is the definition of a HIDDEN GEM. I’m almost hesitant to share how good this place is because I want it all to myself! We started with the Hibiscus Lemonade and the Sangria—both were incredibly refreshing and skipped that artificial sweetness you find at other spots. ​For the main event, the Enchilada Green Plate was tangy and authentic, while the Chicken Tinga Burrito Plate was loaded with perfectly smoky, tender shredded chicken. The staff is genuinely friendly and makes you feel like family the second you walk in. If you want real flavor and a warm vibe, look no further.

If you blink, you might miss it, Chuponcito is tucked away behind a gas station, which honestly makes it even more of a hidden gem. It’s one of those places that completely surprises you in the best way possible. The space itself is cozy, simple, and welcoming, nothing fancy, just warm vibes and good energy. This was actually my first time having Mexican cuisine for breakfast, and wow… what a delicious introduction! I absolutely loved their Lilac Almond Latte and matcha latte - both were smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My daughter tried the horchata and couldn’t stop talking about how much she loved it. But the biggest surprise? The lemonade! It tastes incredibly fresh, with coconut and pineapple blended in, such a unique combination and packed with amazing flavor. So refresh

I had such a fantastic experience here. The moment we sat down, the chips and salsa won us over with their bold flavor and perfect crunch. Every dish arrived fresh, steaming, and full of taste that really stood out. They were also serving fresh agua fresca and it was honestly incredible. I would absolutely suggest trying it. I left completely satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit.

At Chuponcito, you can expect delicious, authentic Mexican food with a modern flair. We came in for the organic Horchata latte, and the Benedict, which we split. The portion size was just perfect. Make sure to check their hours for when they serve breakfast, so you do not miss out. Looking forward to tasting the rest of their menu!

Absolutely delicious. We were in town visiting from South SD and came across this spot. The loaded potatoes were absolutely delicious and the matcha was Devine. Great service. Great food. Cute spot. Overall 10/10 Can’t wait to come back
