Schoop's Hamburgers

I had to make an unexpected stop at a auto shop and found this cute burger joint. I love the atmosphere. They have been doing great burgers and shakes since 1948. I will be looking up all locations so I can enjoy a delicious burger again.

I love visiting Schoop’s Hamburgers for a taste of comfort food done right. The burgers are flavorful and generous in size, with fresh toppings that take them to the next level. The milkshakes are thick, creamy, and a must-try. The retro diner vibe makes it a fun and relaxed place to eat. Always leaves me satisfied.

Old time feeling as soon as you walk in.. I was greeted with smiles.. Monday was a special on their milkshakes.. I ordered a vanilla milkshake . It was Delicious it was topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.. I had the Mickey Burger topped with cheese and grilled onions and a side of fries.. The burger was hot and juicy. The fries were hot and crispy.. All in All it definitely was a Great Lunch..

Cool place to stop by! Grabbed a burger. Very standard. Very American. Very Simple. Fries... they could use some seasoning salt enough. Which is a classic burger. Always a nice place to stop by

I am not a big diner type person but I might be changing that tune very soon due to SCHOOPS, in Portage.I've been to upscale restaurants, pizzerias, food trucks but I haven't been a repeat customer until now. The food is Good, Hot not fast because it's cooked to order, which is uncommon nowadays. All employees have hands on deck showing unity and customer satisfaction. It's always nice and clean, employees are friendly and approachable. The only thing that I can say is it's a bit pricey, but I don't mind. $40 for (2) adults and a kids meal for our (dog). Keep up the good work team.
