Portage Public Library

Very loud inside this library, tough to read quietly, study or maintain peace. People chatting on cell phones and staff are typically the loudest. Gone are the days of library etiquette. I will look for a quieter library

Nice, clean, large library. Many selections. Has book store for purchasing books, magazines, CD's, DVD's, VHS. Computers available. Printing fees are 10 cents for black and white copies & $1.00 for color copies.

If you ever need a place to study and do your homework, ride on over to Portage Public Library. This place has everything you need. It's peaceful, quiet, the staff are friendly, they have wi-fi, a study room, and if you just want a place to sit down and take a breather for a moment.

This is an excellent library. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. For a medium size library, the selection is expansive and the staff will do their utmost to secure any publication that is not on their shelves. And, finally, the physical space is clean and well laid out.

Staff is always very helpful. I love the kids area that has toys like trains, action figures, and blocks. They also have educational tablets for free to checkout. Lastly, the fact that DVDS are also free to checkout is a winner in my book. Overall, a great library. :)
