Savona Deli is an absolute gem in Bel Air. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and feels like a little slice of Italy the moment you walk in. Our food was outstanding! I got a meatball panini and my husband got the toscana panini; we both left very full and happy (I even had plenty of leftovers for later!). If you’re looking for food that is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care, Savona will not disappoint! Our food also came out in under 15 minutes, which was impressive given how busy they were. I also tried a chocolate cannoli while we were there and I am so glad I did because that was one of the best cannolis I’ve ever had. I ordered a take-out meal for a close family member who lost her husband last week. I wanted to bring her lunch, because I knew that her husband had gone into hospice "in their home", and passed away, on Saturday, March 22, 2025, and there was probably no food in her residence. I went online and read the reviews and decided to pick up a lunch from Savonna. I ordered the Roma Panini with extra meat, the turkey and avocado salad with dressing "on the side", Arizona Iced Tea, Pellegrino water, and 4 cannoli. She was not home when I brought the lunch to her home, so I left it with a note and a sweet card letting her know to reach out to me if she needs anything. She called me in tears to let me know, that this was the "best sandwich that she has ever had in her life" and that she had not eaten

I recently tried Savona for the first time, and I can’t believe it took me this long to discover it. The staff was incredibly patient and kind, offering great recommendations that really paid off. Their sandwiches are next-level. The sandwiches are generous in size, and you can taste the freshness of every ingredient, but the real highlight is the crusty, perfectly baked bread that’s simply divine I’ll definitely be coming back.

A welcoming, charming, and scrumptious place to visit. The staff were so kind and generous, their selection of sandwiches was diverse, and their grocery options were authentic. I’d strongly suggest the Roma and the Umbria. They feature tomato spread and artichokes that make the sandwiches unforgettable. Grilled sandwiches are a must!

Been living in Bel Air 3+ now and for some reason, just got Savona today for the first time. Ordered the Roma panini and a mini chocolate canoli. FANTASTIC! It's obvious they make their own bread, which is arguably the most important ingredient. Great flavors and freshness. Can't wait to try other menu items soon.
