Broom's Bloom Dairy

We happened upon this place. It has an ice cream sign outside and on a snowy day I agreed that my daughter could have ice cream🤷🏻‍♀️we came in and were pleasantly surprised that they also served lunch. They also sell a a variety of farm fresh dairy and meat products. Eggs, Milk, cheeses, homemade ice tea. The quiche was really good and so was the stew. My daughter actually ate the Mac and cheese. It is a neat little eclectic spot. The icecream was amazing by the way!

My family like many others love this place for ice cream. They do have a wide variety of other things to order for lunch and dinner. Check out the dairy products in the fridge. I have included a few pictures. There’s plenty of picnic tables for space for your family and there is some indoor seating too. I’ve never been disappointed here. My favorite ice cream is the rice pudding, ice cream and the brownie ice cream.

Went to Brooms Bloom for lunch and got the Quiche and Soup Combo. The quiche was okay (bacon broccoli) wish it had been deeper to get more egg. But was flavorful. The Cream of Crab was delicious and filled to the brim (I had some spoonfuls before pic!). It was thick without being paste and had multiple large lumps of crab throughout. Also had an orange chocolate chip ice cream which was delightful! Went in February around 12:30pm and plenty of table to choose from.

Thai was our first stop for the Maryland Ice Cream Trail. After a long hike at Palmer State Park, we had a well deserved lunch and ice cream treat. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was made fast and looked delicious. I had the special, the mozzarella sandwich and it was delicious. I do recommend putting more tomato on it though, it was lacking. The Maryland Half and Half soup was perfect, plenty of crab meat but could have used more Old Bay (in my opinion). I ordered Rocky Road ice cream, and it tasted good but needs more marshmallow (again; my own opinion. I do love marshmallows). I was happy they used real puffed marshmallows instead of the swirl. The mini cup was larger than I expected. The atmosphere was nice and there was plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Good p

I had the pleasure of eating here while on vacation visiting family. I had the cream of crab soup (aka New England style Clam Chowder) - which I found out is also gluten free! (Owners, you should really mention this on your website for those with gluten sensitivities/intolerances because most of them contain wheat to thicken, so most people with this allergy tend to avoid it.) I also had the fresh mozzarella, tomato and pesto sandwich and a mini moo cup of caramel cashew ice cream. All of it was super delicious! Of course, I also had to purchase some cheese and Curds for later before leaving. The service was very prompt and everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend!
