Saugerties Public Library

The Saugerties Public Library is the most wonderful place on earth. I personally guarantee that each and every one of your dreams will come true there. If Jesus comes back, he will come back as a librarian there. Maybe he already did. Before going to the Saugerties Public Library I was sad and lonely. Now I am fulfilled. Euphoric, even. Pure ecstacy fills my every waking moment since visiting the Saugerties Public Library. When I sleep my dreams are a symphony of joyous wonderment.

What a terrific library! Good selection of books, and if you can't get a particular title the knowledgeable staff can usually order it swiftly. And it's not just a library of books. There's a whole smorgasbord of side benefits, like streaming services, museum passes, and clubs. It's a great community resource, all wrapped up in Carnegie library styled architecture. :o)

Rudeness and loud people. The librarian, when approached about it said, “times have changed”.

Very clean, great children’s room with a huge selection and play space. Parking is easy and they have electric chargers as well!

Absolutely stunning space with a fantastically welcoming staff and a gorgeous pollinator garden.
