Sawyer Ice Cream Company makes some really great ice cream! They have over 30 different homemade hard ice cream flavors to choose from. Both hard and soft ice cream are served. The restaurant has a fantastic 1950’s look and vibe to it. There is plenty of outdoor seating available. Lots of different sweet combinations are offered: cones, sundaes, shakes, frappes, cakes, and sodas. The staff here was friendly. It’s hard to miss this place coming into Saugerties so stop and give it a try.

Drove by this ice cream shop and stopped because of its eye catching American diner inspired exterior. I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The flavors are rich and delicious, with generous portions that truly satisfy your cravings. The decor is not only beautiful but also very tidy, then I looked them up on instagram and found out they opened only a year ago. They offered a free pup cup as soon as they saw my dog and I can speak for my baby that it’s the best pup cup he has ever had! Writing this review because me and my friend are already craving for their ice cream and I have to make a review to shoutout to them.

After a long hike, stopping here for a milkshake was hands-down the best decision of the day. The peanut butter milkshake hit the spot — so good it almost made me forget my legs were sore! And honestly, it tasted even better knowing how affordable it was. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and seriously delicious treats — what more could you ask for? Highly recommend stopping by whenever you need a little happiness in a cup (or cone)!

Absolutely loved this popular ice cream stand that was packed on a Sunday evening. The ice creams were delicious, the ambiance was wonderful, the staff were efficient and accurate with our order. We are visiting our sister and it felt like half the neighborhood was there really adding to the small town charm. They gave generous portions and everyone left with a smile on their face.

We have been touring some of the area's icee cream stands. This time it was Sawyer Ice Cream Company. This is a newer Ice Cream stand that replaced a long time car wash. People may miss the car wash, but gained an ice cream stand. It was quiet when we were there. So there was no waiting to be served. I ordered a Sawyer Swirl, which is like a Dairy Queen Blizzard. This has been my common frame of reference. It's been this treat with vanilla ice cream and peanut butter cups mixed in at each ice cream stand. I am happy to say it was quite good. As I told the wife, I would not make a special trip to bypass one place for the other. The three places we have been in the last week made this treat, with some different names. All of them had good ice cream. All of them were made slightly different.
