This Bed and Breakfast was perfect! Just what my fiance and I were looking for in a weekend. We stayed in the Lady Anne room and it had a beautiful B&B character all its own. Very well maintained, for an historical building. Dolores, the innkeeper, was very knowledgable and so welcoming! The reason the breakfast is at 9am is because she makes everything, prepares it, and SERVES your food, drinks and seconds all on their quaint sun-porch, every day. My fiance is lactose intolerant, and she made a special meal plan just for him--you don't get that kind of service just anywhere. Disregard the negative comments. The inn sits right behind a group of condos and the condo pool is right by the water, for our use. We were so well accomodated, it was an 8 min walk from the downtown area, and we stil

My family stayed here over 4th of July Weekend. The place was nothing special. When we arrived Innkeeper Dean Borland informed us that there was no TV due to a storm. He also did not provide any Breakfast to guest. He was rude to my daughter the first day telling her how to open the door. The next day we had an ant problem, but Dean was never around. I finally caught him at 10 at night when he was dropping off something. He said he would take care of it. We never saw him again. We ran out of towels and had to use the same ones for 3 days. This guy is a joke, only looking for a money grab. Also, when leaving he wants you to clear the beds, take out the garbage, and do the cleaning staff's job for them. You do not want to stay here and can find better places elsewhere.

Was happy to be able to get a room here on short notice. Can't beat the location and the place was spotless. Dolores could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable or friendly. A little pricey and the bed and the shower were a tad small but you have to expect these things when staying at a B&B. The breakfast was really good but I wish we could have gotten it earlier as we are early risers and having to wait till 9:00 was a stretch for us. The pool looked fabulous but I didn't get a chance to use it.

I've been going up to Saugatuck for 47 years and always just passed by the Harbor Inn on my way into town. SO glad we stayed there recently. The home and hospitality couldn't be warmer. Delores, the innkeeper, made us feel right at home, especially with the lovely breakfast she served us on the porch! The house is super clear and so nicely decorated, especially the living room area where guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful room, or even watch a movie. And there's parking! The harbor side location AND a pool (guests have access to the pool next door) make it extra special. It's tucked away and private though town is just blocks away with lots of activity. Best of both worlds! Thanks Delores for making our stay so nice and special!

First, the Marie Celeste Room in the photos is not the actual room. There is NO refrigerator or coffee post, as listed. Due to Covid, there is no Breakfast, just the bed, and there is no housekeeping. It seems like, at these rates, michiganvacationing.org could come up with something to make up the difference, a nominal voucher to a local bakery, directions to the nearest cup of coffee, a prepackaged nutragrain bar...something! The WiFi worked 1/2 the time, this place is NOT within walking distance of anything, and the pool is right on the edge of the bay, and is filthy. The bed was a bowl, it bowed horribly in the middle, we left early because of this. Sink isn’t in the same room as the toilet, gross! And they request you take out your own trash. For a $65 housekeeping fee, we got exactly
