One of the greatest breakfasts on the go, one of the best in town. Old school greasy spoon serving up those American diner favorites, great eggs and potatoes, tasty French toast cinnamon goodness, Giant pancake. Delicious egg&cheese sandwiches on fresh roll, made with care. And don't forget the tasty burgers and hot dogs. Steamed options too, on some of their items. Steamed burgers, yes. Get steamed cheese on top of your order too. The Spudfries are awesome, properly cooked potatoes not over not under.... They get it right at Sara J's

Sara J's is hands down the BEST in CT. The owner is so pleasant and hardworking, offers prompt service ALWAYS, and greets with a warm welcoming smile. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious, affordable and consistently well made. She is accommodating when we ask for any toppings, and always does so with a smile and laugh that you can hear beaming through the phone. We adore her! Everything is cooked to order and always fresh. The cakes Sara makes are incredible. All around worth the stop if you are ever in the area, even worth the drive if you are not! We absolutely LOVE Sara J's and look forward to her food anytime we have the chance!

We stopped to grab some food for lunch on a long road trip. The location was super convenient and our chef/server was so kind. She brought the food out to our car once it was ready and slipped in a free (and delicious!) sweet treat to make up for a very minor inconvenience with one of our orders.

Great breakfast! Hip adorable little place, minutes from the highway in cute neighborhood. Perfect for travelers looking for more than rest stop eats. Lunch is served too including the Connecticut option of a steamed burger. Breakfast was delish, be sure to try the unique twist on home fries.

Very affordable. Prompt service. Woman at counter was extremely kind and welcoming. Will definitely be stopping by again next time I need a bacon egg & cheese or an omelette!
