Sands Castle B&B - Vail

The Sands Castle is a truly great winter experience. The West Vail location is ideal for both Vail and Beaver Creek riders and skiers. Easy access via bus—stop is only a block away. Short walk to groceries and takeout food. Paul is a helpful host and an overall cool guy. He knows the insider tips and shares them. He cooks from scratch and his breakfasts are perfect for a day on the mountains. Every day was something new and unique. I now have a few new recipe ideas. Around the house is clean, comfortable, and casual.

Paul is a top notch host. My husband and I have stayed with Paul 3 times now and he never disappoints! He keeps a clean home, with an awesome hot tub and knows how to cook! He will definitely want to feed you breakfast and, if you’re good and ask really nicely, will make you dinner as well! Thank you, Paul! You are the best!

Had the most amazing stay at Sands Castle! We were able to book last minute and it was the highlight of our visit in Vail. It is a 5 minute drive from the mountain and the house is absolutely beautiful! Paul is so welcoming and friendly and even made us breakfast before skiing for the day. His pup Ginger is an absolute angel and the cutest! Stay here if you are in Vail 10/10

Paul and his place are exquisite! He is a wealth of knowledge and talent. His house is like a mini-alpine castle with great amenities. It is close to town and right on the free bus line, but still far enough away from town to be a zenful zone.

I stay there one night sands made us dinner he had coffee made and made breakfast don't know if he dose it all the time it was a nice Street rooms are very clean and spacious bathroom and shower was really nice and big and he had a place for me to park my motorcycle
