Vaqueros Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

Vaqueros feels cozy and had an authentic charm. It was pretty busy when we arrived, it took a while to be greeted and seated. The menu is quite lengthy so it took us a while to read through so I guess it was okay the service was somewhat slow. The chips and salsa came out fresh and pretty quickly. Once I saw Molcajete on the menu, I knew that was it for me. The flavors were good but it definitely didn’t look like the menu photo and was lacking in the amount it was filled, especially for the price, and I don’t think it had any onions or poblanos. We also had the Vaqueros Special but it didn’t come out in one platter, so they brought the rest of the items out separately. I forgot to take a photo of the taquitos as they came out later on another plate, they were flavorful, especially dipping

this place has very good Mexican food. The jalapeños are are pickled. They can get them pickled which are really nice cause they’re not spicy. They’re very good. The ambience is very nice. The people are very friendly and very helpful. Very pleased with this place. If you’re around the Valaria and you want some good quality Mexican food. This is great plus the prices are very reasonable in line with kind of regular prices but like in Vail, which is uncommon. Very big restaurant actually.

The food and service was excellent! Mayra was a wonderful bartender/server and the chicken tortilla soup is the best I’ve ever had. Free parking and extensive menu.

Wow! Excellent is every way! Service, Atmosphere, Food. The salsas were all fresh and flavorful. My husband said the fish he ordered reminded him of Veracruz. My burrito was outstanding. You will not be disappointed. Come support this wonderful establishment.
