San Felipe

I wouldn’t normally write a review but today’s experience was horrible! I was a few bites into my meal when a large roach crawled on the wall right at my table. We told the waitress who offered us another table but I explained I no longer wanted the food. Imagine my surprise when they charged me full price no apology no discount nothing.

Went here to eat with family, we were given chips and salsa and I almost choked before they even came to take our drink orders. I got one refill rather quickly but when another person in our party needed a refill it took over 10 minutes for the waitress to notice. Someone from the kitchen brought our food and we had to sit and wait for the waitress to finally check on us to realize that we did not have silverware to eat. We were never given napkins or asked if we needed more chips or salsa. The food was nothing special, my ACP was a smaller portion size for a dinner course and the chicken was dry. Upon going to pay, all the waitresses were just standing at the front talking instead of taking care of their tables. Very poor service. I will not return.

The food was very good, at least my Hawaiian Fajita was with tender pork and pineapple. There service was extremely good, timely refills and a good response to requests. The atmosphere was ok but nothing exceptional; however, I would rather have good food over atmosphere.

Unfortunately after ordering our food our waitress couldn’t be found, We had to wait quite awhile to be able to get a drink refill and when out food finally came out we had to sit there staring at it for several minutes because we weren’t given silverware and once again our waitress couldn’t be found. It even took awhile for her to show up with the check once it was asked for. Overall the portions were small much smaller than the Southport location. It seemed upon checking out staff spends most of their time socializing with each other which is probably why our waitress was MIA. Will be sticking to the Southport location for any future visits nothing like this has ever happened there which is why we initially expected this visit to a sister store to go well.
