Brunswick County Library - Rourk Library

Absolutely my favorite little place in Shallotte. I love our local library, and it's one of my favorite places to just go and unwind.

We recently attended storytime at Rourk Branch Library with our toddler, and it was a fantastic experience! The facilitator was incredibly engaging, interactive, and kind, making the session enjoyable for both kids and parents. In addition to the well-told stories, there was a fun activity that kept the children involved and excited. The library itself is a welcoming space for families, and we highly recommend their storytime to anyone looking for a great way to introduce their little ones to the joy of reading! We’ll definitely be back.

The staff here are quite pleasant and enjoy what they do. I can appreciate that. The Library is clean, with a warm environment.

I love this library and my kids do as well. Always a good selection of titles and if something is not in they will gladly reserve it for you. They have something going on every week for children, and have a big reading event coming this summer as well. Quiet and there is always a computer available to use if needed.
