Sam's Social Club

We came for dinner during our anniversary weekend trip. We picked 2 appetizers: pork belly, and tiger prawns ceviche. And they were amazing! Full of flavor and just enough heat!For man dishes the pan fried trout with fennel and Caesar salad with salmon. And we were happy with the choices. Food is tasty and service is good. The space is large clean and inviting, they have an impressive outdoor s seating area, it can accommodate large groups. It did not feel intimate , but it was a great experience non the less. The serving staff is friendly, attentive and professional.

The Real Deal is Sam’s Social Club which delivers on a great indoor and outdoor experience and some solid breakfast items. Let’s start it off with the service, we got seat immediately on a Saturday morning, quickly asked about drinks, and then asked for the order. Servers were good but never really asked about the food. Now onto the atmosphere that delivers an amazing dining area with bar area, with a pop up tent outdoor seating with heaters and fire pit area. There is a little bit of every experience for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Now onto the Main Event what you all came here to see: The Food! We had Thanksgiving at Sam’s Club at Indian Springs Resort. The whole experience was absolutely terrible. DO NOT EAT THERE FOR ANY HOLIDAY WITH THEIR PRIX FIXE MENU. The service was poor, and it felt like the restaurant was being run by unsupervised children — very inexperienced staff. The entire prix fixe Thanksgiving meal was extremely underwhelming. Our dinner rolls were forgotten and arrived with the dessert. The prime rib was burned on one side and medium-well on the other. The Thanksgiving dishes were served at room temperature. The gravy had a thick film on top, and the cranberry sauce was dry and dull, as if it had been left out for several hours (see pictures). The pumpkin pie crust was raw. Overall, the meal felt like it had been catered from somewhere else. Not worth the money

Make sure to get the banana bread! It’s a must try. We recently had banana bread in Hawaii and its seriously is better. Food portions were big and breakfast was delicious. My 3 year old wanted pizza for breakfast (of course) and it came with tots and fruit. We will definitely be back!

We had a phenomenal time here, and we’ll definitely be paying them another visit on our next trip to Napa! We split the Sam’s Cheeseburger and can safely say this was the best burger we’ve ever had!! This burger had fantastic flavor, was cooked to perfection and it melted with each bite! The Philly Cheesesteak Hash was delicious and we believe this was a special during our visit. In addition, we order the Candy Cap Churros for dessert, which was also a standout here! On top of all that is their amazing staff, we were very impressed with the overall service! We highly recommend coming up to Calistoga and trying Sam’s Social Club, you won’t be disappointed! Visited Sam’s Social Club at the end of 2024.
