Customer Reviews
The Real Deal is Eight North which delivers a new fine dining experience with flavors to boot. Let’s start off with the service that made a very honest and straightforward server which gave great food reviews. There was someone always refilling our drinks which I always love. I did have one issue with the meal which they took serious and worked to make it right. The atmosphere is a very fine dining experience with a bar area, booth seating and regular chair seating for bigger parties. Very beautiful clean, modern but rustic look inside five star for sure plus it’s new only about three weeks old at the time, visited about two weeks ago. Now onto the main event the Food. The Shrimp and Grits were really delicious, a ton of flavor, great consistency 9/10. The Sonoma Chicken Thigh was deliv
I really wanted to love everything here, but the food fell a bit short for me. The duck fat potatoes, which I was most excited to try, were underwhelming and lacked the rich flavor I was expecting — they tasted fine, just not very seasoned or memorable. Overall, the dishes were okay, but not the standout quality I anticipated for the price point. On the positive side, the staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the entire visit. The atmosphere was lovely as well, and the service absolutely outshone the food. With a bit more attention to seasoning and depth of flavor, this place could easily be fantastic.
The food was “ok” didn't like the Bagna Clauda. The bread was ok. Muscles horrible. The grits were good, the Pork Loin, amazing. In general, Meh …. Dessert, no.
Very delicious meal with creative twists. Sauce on the mussels was outstanding and appetizer bagna cauda was very flavorful and accompanied by great variety of raw and cooked crudités. Our server, Dennis, was extremely friendly, professional and informative. Very good moderate priced wine list.
Absolutely a delicioius lunch. We enjoyed the burrata salad, warm olives, and mussels paired with some great wines. The service was fanastic too. Laura of Raleigh
