Sam's Pizza Etc

It was a middle of the road spot that I had seen countless times on my way to Hanging Rock but hadn't tried until a couple of weeks ago. My salad was fine. My son's spaghetti and meatballs... Fine. My friend's BLT was fine. We didn't have their pizza, but supposedly, they are the best in the county. The service was also just fine. We had at least three different waitresses come over and then had elongated pauses of no service in between each visit. Nothing too egregious, though. Overall, it's a middle of the road place with classic American(ized) food.

Nice small local restaurant located in Walnut Cove NC on the main street thru town. The pizza offerings, including buffet which also includes your drinks, 6were above average and the atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful. Our waitres was on the spot for anything we needed.

Well the first few times i was there is was ok but this last time i went there with my family i really didn't feel that we were treat right, the waitress talked really ugly to my grandkid a 3 year old it was every disrespectful the way she told her don't touch me little girl and no one we like someone talk like that to your kids when she wasn't doing nothing wrong by just kinda getting close and touched her kids are innocent there think like us adults i just hope they talk to this young waitress to treat people with kindness and be more nice even if you're not having a good they you shouldn't talk with anger.

Me and my children and grand daughter went to eat here yesterday afternoon. And I still cannot believe what we experienced . I’m a sever myself for over 30 , years and can never imagine treating any child the way the waitress spoke to my granddaughter . It still is bothering me really bad still today. I wish I would have got the waitresses name she was a young waitress with long blond hair . As we set down from the beginning when she started to take my order I felt she spoken kinda rude to my daughter when she was trying to ask her a question . My granddaughter just turn three years old not long ago and she is very sweet , friendly and loves everyone and it’s just her sweet nature that she will go up and say hey , maybe touch your hand , or even try to give you a hug the waitress looke

We almost walked out after 3 waitresses stood behind the counter having a personal conversation completely ignoring us. I'm glad we stayed. The service at the table was great and so was the food.
