Olympic Family Restaurant

Olympic has been a tried and true "go to" for many years now. Excellent variety on menu and I've never had anything that I can say, "never order that item! Hamburger steak is a favorite of mine. Every looks tidy, tastes delicious , always clean and atmosphere is always welcoming. Staff is fantastic and prices are reasonable! Can't go wrong here. There's something for everyone!

Went to eat there for first time today …have rode by it many times but never stopped and my in laws wanted to eat somewhere local and chose this place …i had my doubts but as soon as my plate arrived i knew it was goin to be good …our waitress was excellent and very nice didn't catch her name but loved her …liked that other waitress helped out too …i ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and side of fries and it was delicious my in laws and wife got wraps and gyros and they looked good too we all enjoyed our meals …will return again for sure for breakfast or dinner again …i saw another table ordered omelets and they looked good too …hard to find good places with good quality service and food …place was clean and really impressed me and i can be hard to please when i go out to eat c

We stopped here on the way back from looking at a car. We wanted something new, fresh and homestyle! We stumbled upon this restaurant, they were still serving breakfast at 10:45am, though we were wanting lunch. We are thankful we gave it a shot! It was cheaper than Waffle House, tasted better and the staff was friendly! I got the #3 daily special, the star of the meal was the French toast. I've never been a fan of it but theirs was soft, thick and fluffy...I've never had anything like it!!! Chris had the country style steak and gravy... he said it could have used more seasonings but was very tender...not chewy a bit! We will be back to try out lunch, I bet they make great homestyle plates with veggies!

I was in the area for business and wanted some real food for lunch. I'd never heard of Olympic family restaurant, but it looked reasonable so I tried it. Super decision! The waitress was welcoming, the food was tasty and they had a wide selection so I felt super confident that my tummy would accept the baked chicken over rice, broccoli & pinto beans. Quick meal and I was back on the road. I will for sure return next time I'm in Walnut Cove.

Got an order for pick up. Staff was super friendly and food was nice and hot. Everything was very good. They have a wide variety on the menu so definitely something for everyone. Will definitely be going back
