Sampson Cheesesteak

This is a great roadside diner. I have seen the business for years, but wasn't able to stop. I finally got to, and now I need to go back. This was the best cheese steak I have ever outside of Philly.

Man, I love me some Sampsons. When I passed it headed somewhere, I knew I had to hit it on the way back. I was not disappointed, as many a cheesteak joint is wont to do. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered almost half the menu, which is limited. That's usually a good sign, and I was right. The only main variant I didn't get was a chicken sandwich, so that's on the list for next time. What I did get was not one, but two Phillies. I was that confident in Mr. Sampson, owner and culinary wizard extraordinare. Because I'm a big old fat pig whose only vices are food and phone calls with girlfriend, I got a cheeseburger to eat on the drive home, before I ate a Philly on the drive home... Oh, and some fries. Food was extremely good .....But me and other friends got charged 400 plus bucks for are meals !!!! Useing the card system needs updating restaurant is clean managers are friendly we are just concerned about that card reader system....we talked about if ever revisiting maybe try cash only !!!!! Will be checking are banks my friend is going to go back to re pay the restaurant in cash they took off 400 bucks returned it to him then the restaurant didn't get paid for the service he provided please watch when useing cards if they are not paid for meals .... PAY THEM .... the system is having issues it's not the restaurant they are honest and loving check to make sure they are funded for unpaid meals are if u was over charged let them know .........

Absolutely amazing food 10/10, go support this business! Owner is extremely nice and just overall this place is something i’m definitely going to be going by a lot! Thank you!
